Description
Fredrick, aka Captain Thunderbold loved a few beers. He’d head to the pub, have a pint and leave a few bullet holes in the walls. We’re a bit more civilised in our smalltown these days – just like this lager. A brilliant straw pour, a bit of citrus and a dry finish.
Technical beer style:
We’ve borrowed from a few styles to make this lager – on the malt side we’ve gone with an Australian-Japanese mix. A touch of rice and can sugar, while the hops have a touch of Hallertau Mittlefruh for bittering while whole Galaxy cones were used in the whirlpool. The beer has high attenuation and is on the dry side with great new world hop notes.
