6.5% Yuzu Brett IPA. This latest Mayday Hills release pours a deep golden yellow with a vibrant, tight white head. At first the aroma bursts with fresh fruity hops, passionfruit and sweet pineapple. Following up these initial notes you will notice fresh Yuzu and candied citrus. On the palate a mid-range level of bitterness balances beautifully with the hop sweetness and full creamy mouthfeel attributed to the Brett.
Citrus and pineapple flavours linger while the pleasant warmth of the 6.5%ABV cuddles you and makes you feel safe.
HOW WE MAKE IT:
Local Yuzu fruit from Mountain Yuzu has been added to this beer pre and post fermentation. We have also
dry hopped this beer with a yest to be named new Australian hop variety. Currently known as 016.
Goes great with Slow roasted Lamb Shanks.
