Single hopped with Eclipse, big blood orange and mandarin flavours dominate this India Saison, fermented to bone dry with a saison yeast.
-TECHNICAL BEER STYLE-
We ran with a suggestion from HPA to brew a Farmhouse/ Saison for the Eclipse’s release but wanted to really let the hops dominate. So….we ended up using our standard hazy malt base plus some sugar to lighten the body, combined with a hazy style dry hop. The bitterness is smooth, while there is no doubting that you are drinking a saison with fruity and phenolic aromas dominating.
