Description
We’ve had a few bottles of Topper’s Mountain wines, but adding its unique terroir to our Farmhouse Ale has taken way too long. So here’s the first year of our Altogether Project. A sparkling straw greets the glass and immediately gives aromas of Sauv Blanc and orange peel. The body has fruit sweetness and hay before a warming peppery finish. Pretty Sauvy.
TECHNICAL BEER STYLE – A classic Saison malt bill of pale pilsner malt and malted wheat was refermented (stainless) on Sauv Blanc grape juice from our favourite local winery. The beer had an extended cold maturation to smooth out the stresses of the refermentation and like all our beers was conditioned in the can and keg.
